We are excited to be working on our Lights Up! Project which will see our members perform on the B2 stage at the Belgrade Theatre in February 2024! Members are working hard to create an original play using devising techniques, movement and song.
Members decided on the theme of ‘journey’ for the Lights Up! project after suggesting and exploring different options. The theme of ‘journey’ was then explored and we’re excited to continue this exploration in our workshops as the play is created and developed.

I think it is a good idea to do a longer project of a performance piece … and it gives people more time to explore characters and develop them … Like doing the arts side and prop making and learning to make props out of different materials. I liked seeing others creatively develop through making props … I have enjoyed the fact that it's been a collaboration. I'm looking forward to having to learn lines and to be part of a longer play that is really exciting.
