‘Revealed’ Theatre Trip

‘Revealed’ Theatre Trip

We had an amazing time at the Belgrade Theatre recently watching ‘Revealed‘ by Daniel J Carver. Directed by Jay Zorenti-Nakhid. 🎭
Members of Underground Lights said the show was brilliant, intense and hilarious! We were all captivated by the balance of humour, and tension that was explored throughout the show.
Check out our members reflections about the show below:

‘Revealed’ was fast paced but enjoyable to watch. The cast did a superb job with the story line which was on three characters: a grandfather, a father, and grandson who tells his family he’s gay, and shows each of their reactions to this news.

Strong personalities exploring the adversities black people face in order to navigate the complexities and dangers they experience in a country grappling with equality. (Or should that be inequality?)

This play essentially explores human emotions, and the psychological effects racism has, and demonstrates a need to be respected as equal and valued simply as a human being. This play cries out Black Lives Matter a truth that links on from Martin Luther King. That equality needs to exist across continents and in our world of many nations.
