The Hotel
This term turned a new leaf with a unique and interesting play driven by the dynamics of underground lights members. With a performance puzzled together piece by piece in a jigsaw of detail and intrigue.

It all happens in a hotel when an important guest is about to arrive, but I won’t give the plot away, only to say, everyone was preparing for the new arrival, but things didn’t go well.
Who’s to say what happens, only we know at Underground Lights and if you want to know you’ll have to turn up at our intriguing performance. One thing I can tell you, you’ll be surprised at every turn, and mesmerised as the reception bell rings out loud, and the staff at the hotel are all of a dither.
This play is put together by the genius of members who have strung together humour and dynamics, transforming into different character roles and taking on their performances magnificently. Their imaginations combined have played out this play with a cocktail of intrigue and a dust of magic.

I can say members were wired up to the possibilities of what could happen in a hotel, and this is ingrained into each detail and every interaction between guest and staff at what is a mysterious hotel. Creating an Immersive story ready to be explored, needless to say the audience will be mesmerised.
The facilitators have kept us on our toes on this one, between relaxation exercises and exploring ideas, inventing a script for theatre, which could only be done by inclusion and excellence, the icing on the cake.
