Drama for Wellbeing

THEATRE HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE LIVES Participation in drama and performing arts activities can improve mental health and wellbeing. We are run for and by adults experiencing social disadvantage, homelessness and/or mental health issues in Coventry, Warwickshire and the surrounding area. Our Big Give MATCHED FUNDING campaign is raising funds for our drama workshops to support people’s wellbeing, creativity, confidence and community.

Why donate? Our impact

Campaign Aims

  • Decreased isolation and increased community building: Our members value belonging to a creative community that profoundly understands their situations, respects their experiences, and supports their full participation just as they are.
  • Co-Creation: Our theatre making model enables sustained deep engagement with members over months and years. We commit to an empowering, participatory co-creative process rather than parachuting in to deliver one-off workshops or termly courses.
  • Confidence and skill development: Our support empowers members to achieve their aims – we advocate services, make referrals, and support creative employment or volunteering. By giving members time to develop at their own pace, they gain skills, confidence, and self-worth to create lasting change.
