Linda Leech

I feel so privileged & excited to be working with Underground Lights. I discovered this amazing company a few years ago & have wanted to work with them ever since! I am an experienced theatre practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in the performing arts, working in Community Theatre, in Education, with young people & with people with learning disabilities.

I am passionate about the transformative power of theatre and the important role it plays in giving people a voice. I firmly believe the arts should be accessible to all & am committed to facilitating inclusive, participant-led, inspiring projects where participants can explore themes and realise their potential. I trained at Coventry Centre for the Preforming Arts & with several companies including Theatre de Complicite, Trestle Theatre Company, Trading Faces & CandoCo.

When I’m not working with Underground Lights, I run an after-school drama group, am a Front of House Usher at the Belgrade Theatre & am also a Teaching Assistant. In my spare time, I love spending time in our caravan in Wales, am a member of a Quiz Team, & am trying to learn Welsh!
