We’ve celebrated a year of creativity and connection: our projects have ranged from medieval-inspired performances at St Mary’s Guildhall to BBC-featured projects, and received national recognition for our inclusive work. We completed our biggest project yet – Lights Up! – celebrating collaborations and the incredible achievements of our members, in the year we were shortlisted for Arts and Homelessness Project of the Year.

Silk painting workshops, parades and the power of the written word – just some of the activities our members were part of in the year we explored the thing that connects us all: Being Human.

Coventry became City of Culture – bringing opportunities for members to show their creativity to a wider audience than ever before. But our impact went much further than that…

Creative packs, shadow puppets and a project with international reach – our members demonstrated resilience and creativity despite incredible challenges this year.

Our second year saw Underground Lights build on our previous success – and presented us with the biggest challenge we’ve ever faced: a pandemic.

Our first Annual Report highlights the first grants we received, our registration as a charity and, most importantly, the impact we had on our members.
